The earliest form of Equilibrium Air Conditioning was established in 1968 by Paul Eastaway after he left Carrier Airconditioning Pty Ltd.
The Company was one of the first dealerships appointed by Carrier in Australia. The company expanded until gradually the commercial and industrial section outgrew the domestic demand. This expansion involved the establishment of a service division to support the commercial sector of the developing business.
By 1982 there were three distinct divisions with the design and construct commercial area predominating. In year 1999, the company was restructured to service larger commercial projects.
High profile developments that Equilibrium has been involved with include 78 Waterloo Road North Ryde, Stocklands Merrylands, Sydney Adventist Hospital, and Hunters Hill Private Hospital.
